Qi Jin (Ph.D.)

Dr. Qi Jin's research was on the analysis and active control of flow instabilities in microchannel cooling systems. He was co-advised by  Prof. John Wen. He joined the School of Energy and Power Engineering at the Nanjing University of Science and Technology as an Assistant Professor.

Toochukwu Aka (M.Eng.)

Toochukwu received M.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering in May 2021. His research was on flow maldistribution during two-phase flow in parallel channels. He continued his research as a Ph.D. student at RPI.

Madeleine Dwyer (M.Eng.)

Madeleine, co-advised by Prof. Karyn Rogers, graduated from RPI with M.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering in May 2020. Her research focused on the design of high-pressure aquatic sample collection systems.

Kangmin Cheng (M.Eng.)

Kangmin graduated from RPI with M.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering in May 2019. His research focused on instabilities associated with the liquid-vapor phase-change mechanism.

Mariana Basilio (M.Eng.)

Mariana graduated from RPI with M.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering in December 2017 and joined the industry. Her research was on the characterization of adsorption isotherms using a quartz crystal microbalance.

Thomas Fajardo (M.Eng.)

Thomas graduated from RPI with M.Eng. in May 2017 and joined Sikorsky as an aeronautical engineer. His research was on the fabrication and characterization of spectrally-selective surfaces for energy harvesting.

Christina Vasil (M.S.)

Christina graduated from RPI with M.S. in Mechanical Engineering in May 2017 and joined GE as a research engineer. Her thesis was based on analyzing the effect of surface wettability on thin-film evaporation.
